Individual Membership

Individual CAA membership is part of a professional commitment to excellence in scholarship, educational and professional development, advocacy, freedom of expression, diversity, and the highest ethical standards. The membership period is twelve months beginning the month after CAA receives the application and payment, expiring (but renewable) one year later. Individual memberships are not transferable.

Institutional Membership

Institutional membership signifies a vital engagement with current scholarship, theory, criticism, education, and practice in the visual arts. The membership period is twelve months beginning the month after CAA receives the application and payment, expiring (but renewable) one year later. Instititional memberships are not transferable among departments, libraries, or museums within a college or university.
